What are personal data?
Personal data are data about your person that make identification possible. This includes your name, first name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Personal information may also include data from social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, LinkedIn and other service providers.
In principle, you do not have to disclose any personal information in order to visit our website. In some cases we need your name, first name, address, telephone number and e-mail address in order to provide you with the requested information or to answer your request. In these cases you give us your consent. We only store the data that you have automatically or voluntarily transmitted to us.
How is the personal data processed?
At some points on our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us or to make use of certain services. We store the personal data transmitted in this case only for the purpose for which it was given to us, such as to process your inquiry or to answer possible questions. Your data will not be passed on to third parties.
It can happen that within our internet presence contents of third parties, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google-Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as third party providers) are aware of the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. We make every effort to use only content whose providers use the IP address only to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on this if the third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example.
What data is requested?
If the opportunity for the input of personal or business data (email addresses, name, addresses, telephone numbers) is given, the input of these data takes place voluntarily. The use of all services offered is - as far as technically possible and reasonable - also permitted without the provision of such data or by providing anonymous data or a pseudonym. However, by providing correct information, including optional data, you enable us to provide you with personal and individual support.
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.
Is the confidentiality of e-mail traffic/contact form guaranteed?
Should you wish to contact us with your own e-mail account, we would like to point out that the confidentiality of the information transmitted may not be guaranteed.
If data is collected and processed via our contact form, this data is encrypted before it is transmitted. You are welcome to send us confidential information exclusively by post.

- IP address
- Page from which the file was requested
- Date, time
- Browser type and browser settings
- Operating system
- the page you visited

A personal reference can only be derived from these statistics if you register directly on our site or access our website from a personalised page. However, under no circumstances will this data be passed on to third parties, even in part.
Are cookies used?
When you visit our website, we may store information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an Internet server to your browser and stored on its hard disk. Only the internet protocol address is stored - no personal data.
We use session cookies on our website. This offers you the advantage that you do not have to enter your data again and again when filling out forms. This data is not stored permanently. The cookies are automatically deleted when the browser is closed.
Most browsers are set to accept cookies automatically. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to notify you as soon as cookies are sent.
If you have deactivated all cookies in your browser, a so-called session ID serves to identify you during a continuous access to our website. Again, no data is stored on your computer. The session ID is deleted again after your access has ended.
How can the use of personal data be influenced?
Of course you have the sole right to decide whether and for what purposes we may use your data. For example, you have the possibility to subscribe to a newsletter. You can unsubscribe from this newsletter at any time. Usually there is a link at the end of the newsletter which allows you to unsubscribe from the newsletter without any problems. Furthermore, you alone determine whether we may use your data for the purposes of consulting, advertising and market research. Here too, you can of course revoke your consent at any time.
We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as this is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or for as long as the various storage periods provided for by law. After the respective purpose has ceased to apply or these periods have expired, the corresponding data is routinely blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
Do you pass on my data to third parties?
Personal data is only used by us for internal purposes in the course of the customer relationship. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your necessary consent. Surveys of personal data as well as their transmission to state institutions and authorities entitled to receive information are only carried out within the framework of the relevant laws or if we are obliged to do so by court order. All employees and service providers have been committed by us to secrecy and to compliance with data protection regulations.
What security precautions have we taken?
We have taken technical and administrative security precautions to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All employees and service providers have been committed by us to secrecy and to compliance with data protection regulations.
Whenever we collect and process personal data, it is encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security precautions are subject to a continuous improvement process and our data protection declarations are constantly being revised.
Will this data protection declaration also be changed?
Due to current circumstances, such as an amendment of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG-neu, DSGVO), we will - if necessary - update this data protection declaration.
How can I check, correct, revoke or delete my data?
The user has the right to request information (Art. 15 DSGVO) on the personal data stored free of charge. Furthermore, the user can have his data corrected (Art. 16 DSGVO) or deleted (Art. 17 DSGVO). Please contact us at any time if you wish to find out which personal data we store about you or if you wish to have your data deleted or corrected.
In addition, in accordance with the legal provisions, users also have the right to restrict processing (Art. 18 DSGVO), a right to object to processing (Art. 21 DSGVO), a right of revocation (Art. 7 DSGVO) and the right to data transferability (Art. 20 DSGVO). There is also a right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority (Art. 57 DSGVO). In these cases please contact us directly.
Legal basis of the processing
Art. 6 I lit. a DS-GVO serves our company as a legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose. If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations necessary for the supply of goods or provision of other services or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. b DS-GVO. The same applies to such processing operations which are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of enquiries about our products or services. If our company is subject to a legal obligation which makes it necessary to process personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. c DS-GVO. In rare cases, the processing of personal data may be necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or another natural person. This would be the case, for example, if a visitor to our company were to be injured and his or her name, age, health insurance details or other vital information had to be disclosed to a doctor, hospital or other third party. In this case the processing would be based on Art. 6 I lit. d DS-GVO. Finally, processing operations could be based on Art. 6 I lit. f DS-GVO. Processing operations that are not covered by any of the above legal bases are based on this legal basis if the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or of a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and
fundamental freedoms of the person concerned do not prevail. We are permitted such processing operations in particular because they have been specifically mentioned by the European legislator. In this respect, it took the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed if the data subject is a customer of the controller (Recital 47 sentence 2 of the DS-GVO).
Integration of third-party services and content
Our offer sometimes includes contents, services and performances of other providers. These include, for example, maps provided by Google Maps, videos from YouTube and graphics and images from other websites. In order for this data to be called up and displayed in the user's browser, it is absolutely necessary to transmit the IP address. The providers (hereinafter referred to as "third party providers") therefore perceive the IP address of the respective user.
Although we make every effort to use only third-party providers who only require the IP address in order to deliver content, we have no influence on whether the IP address is possibly stored. In this case, this process serves statistical purposes, among other things. If we have knowledge that the IP address is stored, we will inform our users of this fact.
Other integration of third party services and content
It can happen that within this online offer third party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated. This always presupposes that the providers of such content (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") are aware of the IP address of the users. Without the IP address, they would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore necessary for the display of this content. We make every effort to use only such content whose respective providers use the IP address only to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on this if the third-party providers store the IP address for statistical purposes, for example.
Use of Google Analytics
This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, in the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.
Use of YouTube
Google Web Fonts
This page uses so-called web fonts, which are provided by Google, for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display text and fonts correctly.
To do this, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This enables Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and attractive presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.
Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook"). The plugins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on blue tile or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin".
If you call up a website of our Internet presence that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the website by it. We therefore have no influence on the extent of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge.
By integrating the plugin, Facebook receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If you are not a member of Facebook, there is still the possibility that Facebook will find out and save your IP address.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy, please refer to the Facebook data protection information.
If you are a Facebook member and do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website and link it with your membership data stored on Facebook, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.
It is also possible to block Facebook social plugins with add-ons for your browser, for example with a "Facebook Blocker". -> You can set a link to a Facebook blocker here if desired.
Use of Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps for the display of maps and the creation of directions. Google Maps is operated by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of the automatically collected data as well as the data entered by you by Google, one of its representatives, or third parties.
Our website uses functions of the network XING. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. Each time one of our pages containing Xing functions is called up, a connection to Xing servers is established. To our knowledge, no personal data is stored. In particular, no IP addresses are stored or the usage behaviour is evaluated.
This offer uses functions of the Twitter service. It is provided by Twitter Inc, 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. Twitter offers the so-called "Tweet" function. If you use the Twitter function on our websites, the websites you visit will be linked to your Twitter account and, if applicable, made known to other users. This also involves the transfer of data to Twitter.
Our website uses social plug-ins ("plug-ins") from various social networks. With the help of these plug-ins you can, for example, share content or recommend products to others. The plug-ins are deactivated by default on www.enerpipe.de and therefore do not send any data. You can activate all plug-ins by clicking on the "Activate Social Media" button (so-called 2-click solution).
If these plug-ins are activated, your browser will establish a direct connection with the servers of the respective social network as soon as you call up a website of our Internet presence. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly from the social network to your browser, which integrates it into the website. The plug-ins can of course be deactivated again with a click.
By integrating the plug-ins, the social network receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to the social network, it can assign the visit to your account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by clicking on the Facebook "Like" button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to the social network and stored there.
For the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by social networks as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the data protection information of the respective networks or websites. You will find the links below.
If you do not want social networks to collect data about you via our website, you must log out of these networks before you visit our website.
Even if you are not logged in to the social networks, data can be sent to the networks from websites with active social plug-ins. An active plug-in sets a cookie with an identifier each time you visit the website. Since your browser sends this cookie every time you connect to a network server, the network could use it to create a profile of which websites the user associated with the identifier has visited. And it would then also be possible to assign this identifier to a person again later - for example when logging in to the social network later on.
At www.enerpipe.de we use the following plug-ins: Facebook, Instagram, Xing, LinkedIn.
If you do not want social networks to collect data about you via active plug-ins, you can either deactivate the social plug-ins on our websites with a simple click or select the "Block third-party cookies" function in your browser settings. In this case, the browser will not send cookies to the server for embedded content from other providers. With this setting, however, other cross-site functions besides the plug-ins may also stop working.
